Participamos con 10 trabajos en el 9th IWBFG

El 9th International Workshop on the Biology of Fish Gametes (9th IWBFG) ha tenido lugar entre el 15 y el 18 de julio de 2024 en la Universidad de León, teniendo a las Dras. Paz Herráez y Vanesa Robles (izq. y dcha. en la foto) como principales organizadoras. El congreso ha contado con unos 110 participantes.

Personalmente, he tenido la oportunidad de colaborar una vez más como miembro del Comité Científico de este congreso, que en esta ocasión ha contado con 110 participantes. Asimismo, estuve a cargo de dirigir junto a la Dra. Alicia Felip (IATS, CSIC) la sesión titulada: Reproduction in aquaculture: managing the reproductive performance of farmed species. El Dr. Francesc Piferrer (ICM, CSIC) cerró la sesión como keynote speaker con una charla titulada: Environmental conditions during early development and their effects on the fish epigenome.

Desde la UPV hemos acudido Luz Pérez, Thales França y Fátima Fernández García, además de mí mismo, y nuestra participación ha consistido en 10 trabajos, 3 de los cuales han sido comunicaciones orales, y 7 más han sido pósters. Los distintos trabajos son fruto de los proyectos EELGONIA, ELASMOREP y SEASPERM (ThinkInAzul), y varios de ellos son el resultado de colaboraciones con grupos de investigación nacionales y extranjeros.
